Two incredible hat makers - we think you’re AMAZING!
There must be something in their name. They’re both talented in the chosen arts. Amy Jansen-Leen is a milliner, costume designer, all round creative gal. Amy Saunders is an artist, who created her first ever hat for the races!
Amy Jansen-Leen (that’s her in the middle) made a feast of hats for many gorgeous race day ladies. Carolyn Enting, is wearing a green hatinator made by Amy.
Makaia (in the aqua and purple contemporary outfit) is wearing the winning “Hat of the Carnival” as voted by the public. Made by none other - Amy Jansen-Leen.
Sally-Anne Kerr is wildly couture.
While designer Deryn Schmidt goes feminine and demure.

And then there’s first time hat maker Amy Saunders wearing her own creation. It’s made from old leather pants! Sustainably sexy. We love it!
